Clavo Rico, Ltd. (the “Company”) announced today that its ADR plant has arrived and has been installed at the Clavo Rico mine site in El Corpus, Honduras and is currently being commissioned by the plant manufacturer.  It is anticipated that the commissioning process will take approximately two weeks, at which time the plant will commence its initial testingand “shakedown” procedures and to be ready for full operation at the end of the rainy season coming at the end of October.
The commissioning process consists of making all of the electrical and product flow connections necessary to allow the plant to produce at its optimum capacity.  It is essential that all of the work flow processes be completed with precision and in accordance with the operational specifications in order to obtain all of the output expected in the design plans.
The commencement of operations of the fully commissioned and tested ADR plant will increase the processing capacity of the mine exponentially.  The plant has been sized to process 250 gallons (+/- 1000 litres) of gold laden solution per hour, which is more than is being produced through the expanded recovery field. Currently, the Company has completely filled all of the current gold laden holding ponds to capacity.  It has even filled all of the overflow ponds and what will be the sterile ponds after operations commence.
Mr. Reed L Benson, President of the Company, stated “Although the months of August and September have been our best gold production months since we launched our plant expansion, we are still recovering gold through an antiquated gold processing plant that was never intended to process the amount of solution currently coming off our recovery field.   With the introduction and operation of the plant we believe that we will soon be able to exceed our goal of producing 1,000 ounces of gold per month and that we will be able to increase the movement of ore to the recovery field to approximately 500 tons of ore per day.”
